Terms of service

Effective and last updated: May 28, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of EventPass at theeventpass.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

EventPass provides tools for organizers to publish events, sell or distribute tickets, manage registrations, and related features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

3. Organizers

If you create or manage events, you represent that:

  • You have the rights needed to promote the event and collect attendee data;
  • Event listings (pricing, dates, refunds, capacity, policies) are truthful and not misleading;
  • You comply with applicable laws (including consumer protection, tax, and data protection) for your events and jurisdictions;
  • You handle attendee support and refund obligations as communicated to buyers, except where our payment partners impose separate rules.

4. Attendees and guests

When you register for an event, you agree to the organizer's stated terms for that event where they are incorporated by reference. You must not misuse tickets, QR codes, or access credentials.

5. Payments and fees

Payments may be processed by third-party providers. Fees, taxes, and payout timing depend on the organizer, the processor, and the event configuration. We are not a bank. Disputes regarding goods or services for an event are primarily between you and the organizer, subject to applicable law and processor policies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate law or infringe others' rights;
  • Upload malware, scrape the Service in an abusive way, or attempt unauthorized access;
  • Use the Service to send spam or deceptive communications;
  • Circumvent ticket limits, validation rules, or payment flows.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES SUCH AS MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT WHERE ALLOWED.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, risk to the Service or other users, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EventPass operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your country. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue where permitted; if not permitted, local mandatory rules apply.
